WHAT IS THE REINDEER RUN?
This event is a part of the Town Christmas program and 100% of the income from this run supports our local and international charity work.
The Reindeer Run is a gently sloping, stroller capable, chip timed run through the trails of Heritage and Bakersfield parks in south Flower Mound.
The kid-friendly Grinch Sprint offers a 1 mile run for kids. We’ll have Santa Claus and the Grinch on hand for photos with the kids, families and the young at heart once both runs conclude.
Come in holiday attire, if you like, to kick start the Christmas spirit with your friends, family and other participants.
2025 Reindeer Run and Grinch Sprint
All participants will receive a medal and t-shirt.
5K Reindeer Run
$30: Early bird discount up to August 1, 2025
$35: From August 2 through October 31
$40: From November 1 through November 30
$45: December 1 up to December 6 (event day)
Grinch Sprint
$15: Early bird discount up to August 1, 2025
$20: August 2 up to December 6 (event day)

SCHEDULE
Registration is open up to and including December 6 (event day)
9:00am: 5k starts / Runners are chipped.
9:40am: Grinch Sprint begins for kids. This is not a timed run.
Coffee, pancakes, cookies, water and hot chocolate will be available while supplies last.
Santa and the Grinch will pose for pictures after the runs.

Why not do the Reindeer Run in the morning and enjoy the Christmas Parade and Tree Lightning in the evening! Every December, the Town of Flower Mound rings in the holidays with the annual Christmas Parade and Tree Lighting Ceremony! This year the Christmas Parade and Tree Lighting Ceremony will likely be held on Saturday, December 6 from 5:30-9 p.m. A link for more information will be added here later in the year.
